An extremely comprehensive collection of loops and sounds of 7 different custom made didgeridoos made of wood, bamboo and steel. Performed and recorded by musician and composer Ralph "Stick" Hermann

More than 350 didgeridoo-samples:
-loops from 64-176 bpm, multiple keys, calculated out to 1-8 bars in 2/4 - 11/8 measures
-accents, noises, moods
-effectsounds and a lot more
-samples are WAV-formatted, 44,1 khz, 16 bit, mono/stereo

This unique CD contains perfect calculated loops and strange rhythms, pure multiple didgeridoo drones and animal-sounds, overtones and improvisations.
This renders the Didgeridoo Sample CD Vol. 1 a perfect sound source for any style of music production or composition which needs ancient colour, ambience, bass background or simply "something different". It is also extraordinary useful for commercials, filmmusic, license-free music and atmospheric ambiences for documentaries or video productions.
Another huge plus means the included HTML-navigation-system which simplifys to step through the different layers of the CD.
You are just one mouseclick away from experiencing the samples and getting information about the CD and didgeridoos which have been used. No extensive unclear booklet. A new step beyond!

“... I found the editing and sound to be very high quality...and because of their odd, sometimes weird, nature, the samples are both interesting and fun to play with ... Thanks to this disc, the didgeridoo is not limited to outback settings anymore... (Author: J.A. Putnam, Musicians Tech Central)

Additionally you can download ready-to-play VSampler-soundbanks for the complete CD directly from the producers website.
(Download -contains the banksettings only - no samples)

The banks can be loaded and played in the Demo-version of VSampler.

The advantage of VSampler-banks against the "raw" WAVs is that it enables you to play all samples of an instrument instantly and intuitively without having to load them one by one, provided you purchased the original CD

How to use the VSampler-banks:

As you might guess from the small size of the download (0.5 MB) the bank-file doesn't contain the sampledata, they will be loaded from CD. The steps:
1. download and extract the VSampler-banks
2. insert the sample-CD
3. load the bank, VSampler will ask for the location of the samples, browse to the corresponding directory on CD
4. ... VSampler continues to load the other samples of this bank automatically. You can now play them live and step through the sounds by mouseclick or MIDI program change
5. owners of the full version of VSampler should now save the bank, so next time VSampler will load the samples from CD without asking
